女: Hi, I’m interested in a humidifier. Do you have any recommendations?
(こんにちは、加湿器に興味があるんです。おすすめはありますか？)

男: There are several types of humidifiers. One is the ultrasonic type. It is characterized by its quietness. However, it has the disadvantage of being prone to bacteria.
(加湿器にはいくつかのタイプがあります。1つは超音波式です。音が静かなのが特徴です。一方、雑菌が発生しやすいというデメリットがあります。)

女: Oh, OK.
(そうなんですね。)

男: The other is the steam type. This system uses heat from a heater to evaporate water. The disadvantage is that the electricity bill is slightly higher.
(もう1つはスチーム式です。ヒーターの熱で水を蒸発させる仕組みです。電気代がやや高くなるのがデメリットです。)
