今日はパラレル・リーディングを行います。講義動画を見た後、トレーニングをやっていきましょう。

チャレンジ問題を用意しました。パラレル・リーディングをやってみましょう。

Week2は1人の人物によるナレーションです。

まずはウォーミングアップとして、音声を聞いてみましょう。

Today I’ll explain how to make an omelet.
(本日は卵焼きの作り方を説明しますね。)

First, crack an egg into a bowl and beat the egg white with chopsticks.
(まず、ボウルに卵を割り入れて、お箸で卵白を溶きます。)

At this time, it works best if you mix the egg yolk and egg white evenly.
(この時、卵黄と卵白を均一に混ぜるとうまくいきますよ。)

Next, put some salad oil in a small container and dip a small piece of folded kitchen paper in it.
(次に、小さな容器にサラダ油を入れて、小さく折りたたんだキッチンペーパーをそこに浸します。)

Once the frying pan is hot, use the kitchen paper to spread the oil around.
(フライパンを熱したら、キッチンペーパーを使って油を行き渡らせます。)

Then, keeping the heat on medium, add a third of the egg mixture and spread it all over.
(その後、中火のまま、3分の1の量の卵を入れて全体に広げます。)

When the egg is half-boiled, roll the egg from the back to the front.
(半熟状態になったら、奥から手前に卵を巻きます。)

After adding about a third of the egg again, roll the egg in the same way and move it to the back.
(再び卵を3分の1程入れたら、同じ要領で卵を巻いて奥に移します。)

Repeat these steps.
(これらの工程を繰り返しましょう。)

Serve the finished omelet on a platter to complete the dish.
(出来上がった卵焼きを盛り付けして完成です。)
